Residential complex LIFE-Lasarevskoye
Location and infrastructure
The residential complex “Lasarevskoye” is being constructed in the municipal district Southern Butovo, situated beyond the Moscow ring highway, which is part of the South-western administrative district of Moscow. The area of the district is 2600 ha, the population is about 144 000 people. A large private sector in settlements and villages, included within the city boundary, is still preserved on the territory of the district. The closeness of the Butovo forest, ponds and landscapes seen on the horizon make this district absolutely different from all the districts of the capital with their dense “stone jungle”.
The lands where Southern Butovo is now situated were first mentioned in the written sources of 1339, according to them Ivan Kalita left some of the local villages to his sons. At the end of the 16th century a small village Butovo was formed. At the end of the 19th century there were numerous lands and manors of Moscow’s industrialists here. In 1869 the railway station “Butovo” was opened, after that the development of the district sped up. In 1985 the territory of the settlement was included into the Soviet district of Moscow. In 1991 the municipal district Southern Butovo was formed, and in 1992 mass development started.
The adjective “new” occurs to one first, if one tries to describe any part of Southern Butovo. Houses and schools, kindergartens and health clinics, playgrounds in the yards, streets and paths, parks, benches, metro – everything is new, bright and light here. From the point of view of infrastructure this district is one of the most comfortable in Moscow. In Southern Butovo there are 36 schools, 44 preschool institutions, 7 clinics, more than 250 shops and malls. Here everything is provided for the kids to grow healthy and strong: sports shops and stadiums, play and sports grounds, development clubs and swimming pools. In 2010 a new modern hospital complex is planned to be opened, which consists of a clinic, maternity and children’s hospitals. The entire infrastructure in Butovo is convenient and diverse.
And though Southern Butovo is situated beyond the Moscow ring highway, all the residents of the district, RC “Lasarevskoye” included, enjoy capital benefits and privileges, and also have Moscow phone numbers and registration.
Thanks to the beautiful nature, absence of large industrial institutions, an advantageous wind rose and a fortunate position towards the rest of Moscow, Southern Butovo is rightly considered one of the ecologically cleanest districts of the city.
The district is connected with the city centre by a number of large highways: Varshavskoye highway, Sevastopolsky Avenue, Moscow ring highway, Novoyasenevsky Avenue, Profsoyuznaya Street.
